We are a Beirut-based wine shop and café concept promoting the continuing education of wine and serving as a space for open discussion and creativity. More importantly, we want to remove any pretentious airs surrounding wine and reclaim it as the drink of the people!
With approximately 370 different bottles, Cantina offers a stellar selection of wines from single varietals to blends. Our wines hail from France, Australia, Italy, Chile, Argentina, South Africa, America, New Zealand, Spain, Portugal and, of course, Lebanon.
You can purchase by the bottle or enjoy a bottle in-store. The best part of all: we have 24 wines available to sample through our self-service dispenser machines daily. Feel free to peruse at your ease or make use of our convenient tasting guides.
Quality degradation of our wines is something we take very seriously. For that reason we store our wines in climate-controlled rooms, maintaining the temperature at 18-20 degrees Celsius for red wine, and 8-10 degrees Celsius for white wines. Our cellar maintains a relative humidity of 60%-70%

CAFÉ AND WINE BAR
In the evenings, the lights go down and the wine bar comes alive with music and events – pop by for wine tasting, charcuterie and cheese boards.
All of the graphics in our collection of products – including postcards, posters, gift tags, mugs and stickers – are designed in-house. Our delightful up-to-date maps of the wineries of Lebanon, the Batroun Wine Region, and the Bekaa Wine Region are among our more popular items. Our latest addition is our Lebanese food and wine pairing guide presented in charming illustration-form. See these and other designs in the “Other Goodies” section of this website.
WHAT IS A CANTINA SOCIALE?
In Italy, a cantina sociale (“soh-tchal-eh”) is a winemaking cooperative. Local member vineyards work together sharing grapes, equipment and knowledge to make and sell wine. By working together as a community they find greater success in the market.
We appreciate this ideology of strength through shared knowledge and common ground. As in the Italian cantina sociale, everyone is welcome and from everyone there is always something new to learn.
We genuinely love to hear from you, to answer any of your questions, or to hear suggestions of wines to add to our list.
